ORGA Calculator

Calculate a PSA vehicle's production date from the ORGA number

Enter the ORGA number

The ORGA number (4 or 5 digits) is found in the vehicle — location depends on the model, see the table below. PSA numbering starts at 1149 = 1 January 1980 and increases by 1 each day.

What is the ORGA number?

PSA vehicles (Citroën, Peugeot) produced after 1 January 1980 carry a four- or five-digit ORGA number — also known as 'RP' or 'DAM'. It is the factory's internal daily number: it increases by 1 each day, regardless of whether the factory was operating. Number 1149 corresponds to 1 January 1980.

Knowing the ORGA number allows you to pinpoint the exact day of production of a specific vehicle — which is particularly useful when verifying the plausibility of recorded mileage during a used car purchase.

Note: Jumper models produced by the FIAT factory do not carry an ORGA number.
